While the GCDA only allows Seven colors/markings to be shown via Conformation, AKC allows for ALL colors to be registered and compete in any other events. The GCDA will fault a beautiful, healthy, health tested dog for not being what they deem is an acceptable color! 

AKC also has their own genetic health testing avail and REQUIRED frequently used Sire DNA program! TY AKC!
